More Tips for Selling Your Home

In order to sell your house, you need to make sure that it is available to be shown, at all times.  This can especially be hard when you have children.  Often times we get calls from a potential buyer who would like to see a home on short notice.  Although this may not be convenient for you,  if your home is not ready to be shown, you could lose a possible sale.

With daylight savings time here, home sellers need to lighten up - their home's exterior that is.  Since it is getting darker sooner, people forget that alot of house hunters are looking at homes after dark, so kighting can make a huge impact on curb appeal and perhaps a quicker sale.  So, in the evenings, turn on your exterior lights.

Be sure to wait until your house is ready to be shown before you market it.  This may mean that a fresh coat of paint or new carpet is in order first - presentation is everything so get the work done before marketing the property.
